Gameweek 28 Reveal

Trying to make a design a perfect team that will crush my adversaries while listening to this:
That’s right – I’m activating my Wildcard this week.

But why, Isn’t GW31 the meta? you ask. You see… cleverly deviant of me, I have my free hit still intact ready for blank game week 19 and I intend to start with a triumphant display of power! While the mass are pulling out on Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea assets I have gone full strength in order to push through this blanking madness in hope it pays off and I get some steady green arrows.

Harry Kane had another amazing display against Crystal Palace, I haven’t decided to double/triple up on attack but have close eyes on Bale and Son, who I’ve made reachable by considering the money spread about my team. He currently has a yellow mark for his knee injury in Europe, but I’m confident he will play and may just captain yet. Kane’s stats against Arsenal are amazing to say the least.

Despite Rashford, Martial and Cavani injured, I can’t shake Fernandes out of my team and he will continue sporting his blood red attire in my FPL team; joined by Shaw who is turning out to be a season wonder. He is top among defenders for chances created and second only to Raphinha for chances created in the last six gameweeks, among all players in the league.

I made the switch from Sterling to Kevin De Bruyne. And YES it does make me nervous. Pep rotation is a serious thing! I lost out to it on Sterling last week, and I’ll lose out again before the season ends for sure. Since his return Gündogan has dropped back a bit, KDB is gaining the attacking threat and stats associated with his old self. Despite Sterling being well rested for this game, I feel like I would want Kevin going forward. Wish.👏Me.👏Luck!

Needing a bit of blue in my life Digne and Richarlison have entered and made an exciting promise to trounce Burnley at home this weekend. Ever since Ancelotti’s formation change we no longer see Calvert-Lewin on the end of Everton’s attack. Instead, it’s fallen to Richarlison, our Brazilian hero who will grant us green arrows. Digne is as saucy as ever, promising sweet attacking returns to compliment a hopeful clean sheet.

Finally Mendy and Mount are in from Chelsea. They face Leeds, West Brom and Crystal Palace next, having just had the most solid defensive run of all new Premier League managers ever and this was against the likes of Liverpool, Man United and a solid Everton attack. I will be benching Rudiger this week as I always feel like Leeds to score, but Mount is claiming to be my different differential. Leeds have a shocking record in London, we haven’t won since April 2018 and Chelsea are one of the most formidable down there (other than everyone to look at)!
Mount has been further up the pitch since Tuchel’s takeover, and I feel will be absolutely nailed given the rest. It’s maybe a risk, but if Chelsea dominate us, I might as well enjoy my slice of the cake, right?

One final mention, I fancied bring in Veltman to both cut some assets short and give me money to spend on scrumptious assets over the final 10 game weeks but also he has some pretty interesting attacking stats himself.  Fourth for final third touches and big chances created, and joint-top with TAA and Alonso for shots.

Good luck in the week coming ahead, Ad Victoriam!
