01:30AM. Been spending some time learning the website and trying to tidy up things instead of my bedroom. Sleep can wait, for I have my team to reveal.
My transfer was controversial. The injured Harvey Barnes was taken out for Jesse Lingard. Call it a bit of insurance, Lingard has been on insane form for West Ham, and someone I would likely want to own in my wildcard around Gameweek 31. Leeds have been conceding shots left right and centre and the other options in the price bracket didn’t interest me.
It comes with a small caveat, though that Lingard is ineligible to play against Man United in GW28. Not a problem for my bench, and he gives me extra choice towards using my free hit in GW29 or not.
Sterling takes my cap, as most managers will likely be planning a Man City asset for the armband. Two home games and it’s worth noting Sterling has topped xG despite not returning the points owners would want.
I decided not to take a hit for Dier as Barnes was the priority, and there is still a chance he plays with how Spurs have been rotating centre backs. If not, then Dallas should come on as an acceptable replacement now that he has been playing in midfield.
Perhaps risky for some, I’ve decided to bench Bruno Fernandes, a move that may come bite me in the bum but lets see how this gameweek goes on!
